You can take 100,000 photos “instinctively,” but they still won’t be as good as what you could achieve with just 1,000 shots through active learning.
There are two key questions to ask yourself:
1. Am I currently satisfied with my photos?
2. Do I know exactly what and where I need to learn to take truly great photos?
